Yes, your sister can file a Domestic Violence (DV) case against her husband even if no dowry was given. Domestic violence laws typically encompass various forms of abuse, including physical, emotional, verbal, economic, and sexual abuse. Your sister can seek protection and legal recourse through the appropriate authorities to address the abusive behavior she's experiencing. It's crucial for her to document evidence of the abuse and seek support from family, friends, or organizations that specialize in assisting victims of domestic violence.

If there has been physical violence, then DV case could be filed. There is no question of dowry in this. Thanks and Regards
