Can a FIR be lodged against me just for messaging a girl

I was messaging my girlfriend and her father read them . he says he will lodge an fir against me . I haven't done anything wrong . can he lodge an FIR

I don't know what kind of msg h have sent to you gf. May she is influenced if her father give a statement against you. In police station for protection kindly contact to a lawyer for further details..

If you're girlfriend is Minor that's below 18 years then his father can loge a complaint if your message contains inappropriate content.How ever if she is above 18 then not her father but she will file a complaint.
