Brother was in relation with a girl who is leaving him with out reason

My brother (30yrs) is in a relationship with a married girl (30yrs) from last 5 years. Now she moving back instead of getting divorce. Emotionally he completely down. I want some advice is there any legal way to teach the girl a lesson? And what will be the procedure? What kind of evidence is required to proof she has played this dirty game?
497. Adultery.—Whoever has sexual intercourse with a person who is and whom he knows or has reason to believe to be the wife of another man, without the consent or connivance of that man, such sexual intercourse not amounting to the offence of rape, is guilty of the offence of adultery, and shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years, or with fine, or with both. In such case the wife shall not be punishable as an abettor....Your brother was lucky enough that her husband did not file a case under the above section of Indian Penal Code,...but now if her husband lodges FIR against your brother under this section, your brother will be in a big trouble but no harm will be done to that girl. My advice is dont do any stupid thing, what you are thinking is a daydream.... There is nothing illegal when a woman lives with another man by her wish until and unless her husband takes any legal step against her. If u want to push your brother in trouble, proceed against her legally. Nobody knows, if her husband files a case against your brother, she will be completey fine and your brother will go to jail

There is no legislation present in our country at present where one can be accused for cheating in relationship.The only way you can harass that girl by filing a complaint before your Local police station on the grounds of harassment,mental torture etc.

it is suggested that you and your brother do not take revenge of the same because you might get entangled in to various litigations and various allegations as mostly the society is inclined towards the ladies and and so the law, professionally any one will suggest to take steps but can someone guarantee that there will be firm results, the answer is NO, It is good that your brother is emotionally down and not entangled into accusations and into dirty litigation and you are not having to shell out money unnecessarily or having to run to court for justice, Give it time, the person who committed this kind of thing will not be left apart and with time she herself will suffer.
