Beaten by wife of a married man who are my neighbours. I have the deta

I had an affair with a married man and it was mutual. When his wife found out about it, she physically assaulted me. The man, her husband was unable to restraint her and she beat me up. I find it extremely cruel because only words could be used but she crossed all the lines. The man couldn't restrain her and didn't really utter the truth in front of her and i said the truth. I want to file a complain against her. Can file a police complain or a case for physical violence inflicted on me? Because beating someone up is a crime. Also want to tell you that i am well educated. Infact everyone here is.

Offcourse you can register an FIR against them under various section of hurt, sexual harassment or can file for defamation case, you have many more options to proceed further to maintain your dignity and respect if you want more details search on Google AK Rohilla advocate Rohtak
