Asking about marrying my likeable person according to law.

24-Jul-2023 (In Family Law)
I am a Hindu living in West Bengal. I am with love with a lady. But we are said to be in a relationship. She has a common ancestor who is mother's great grandfather. Can we get married according to law?

From all that I could gather from the description you have given you are within your right to marry that girl within the Hindu laws. but it is advisable that you meet or get in touch with a lawyer and tell the whole story of the genealogy of the family tree to be double sure about being in sapinda relationship but even at the sake of reputation I would say that it seems you are fine to get married.
