Ask court to translate case details from vernacular language to HIndi


23-Apr-2023 (In Family Law)
I am living in Punjab & my wife hails from Gujrat & she has filed the Crpc125 case from Gujrat & case details which came to me are in Gujrati (which I don't know). How to ask the court for getting case details in Hindi / English. So that it can be helpful in fighting the case & understanding the court orders also, which will come as the case will proceed. While my Lawer has filed a petition in Gujrati also. I am not able to believe in him also.

As such there is no any facility in court to translate court proceedings. But your lawyer is only the way who will help you to make understand. So believe what your lawyer is saying or you may approach any lawyer who is in touch with you.

Ask your lawyer to represent you in English, so that you can understand the proceedings. Ask the Court that the Applicant should file translated copy of the same as you are unable to understand. If you do not believe your Advocate, then change your Advocate and engage someone who will represent you in English. Adv. Suneeta Shukla
