abuse and negligence of my grandfather how to proceed legally

05-Jul-2023 (In Family Law)
My grandfather is almost 85 years old. His son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons are living with him in his house. Since last two years, they have been showing utter negligence to my grandfather. Recently the have even stopped to provide him proper food let alone proper medical care. My grandfather has repeatedly asked his son to leave the house but he every time denies citing his expenses for some repair works of the house. My uncle doesn't allow my mother or maternal aunts in the house. My grandfather went to the police last year when the situation became really worse, the OC of the local police station called both my grandfather and his son to the station, his son apologized and promised that everything will be fine but nothing has improved since then. I want to know what are the options are open for my grandfather. If my grandfather takes a legal route to make my uncle leave the house.I want to know what are his options? If we go to court how long it will take for a resolution?

Take custody of Grand father and thereby get a will registered him his or his father or jointly in the name of father and uncle who would look after and take care if grand father, thereafter kick out that Uncle who is neglecting grand father, and ousting that from the property and if through court case it will tak 3-5 years time. So take grand father's custody. If required then do police complaint.

The top most court has reasoned out an order recently stating if the children do not take care of their parents in old age, parents have every right to disown and throw them out of his house as well as remove their name from his property too, because children should not take it for granted because children have no right on parents property. Moreso file domestic violence case apply the judgement to throw them out and the court will be sympathetic towards aged parents.

your grandfather have every right to go before the Ld. Court and file for Maintenance first from his son by stating entire torture upon him. and to asked for remove them from his house by way to file Civil Suit.
Nobody can say how much time will require for obtain relief. No man have time to give time for get relief. But situation tells you if you do not go before the Court, the Court will not give you relief. Therefore, Time is nothing but decision to take step towards relief is everything.
