About adoption and changing surname of child

I married a girl who is having child of 6years. Her husband died. Now I want to keep child surname of mine

Yes you can change her surname as per your surname law will help you to do so its your rights. paper publication ,affidavit and on bond paper ,max 15 to one month time process,and also you can take full custody of minor child.

yes sir u can change the name of your wife's child for that you have to inform the court and thereby take the order from the court so you can legally change his name hope thisbis helpful thank you as it requires certain procedure so that you should approach a lawyer who can help you out with this
