Q: My husband is not giving any financial support for family monthly expe
what rights do we hav to get financial support for me as wife and my 2 children and he acts like no job, but, havng sufficient money for his parents, friends, movies, and himself, except for we 3. He acts unhealthy and never was transparent and genuine in financial support. Creating trauma, blaming,black mailing abandon of us if we ask him money fr our bare requirements. My monthly salary is not sufficient in this metro city to pay rent, maintnance, fees mnthly expenses, electricity,etc.

yes madam you have an option for claiming support from your husband under bnss under section 144 as you are facing typical problem for bare minimal expenses and as you explained above that salary is being not sufficient you can claim under bnss section 144. hope this helps you out.

as you have mentioned that your daughter has been facing DV and she is residing with her mother and her husband has been convicted so mam you can claim a divorce under cruelty and mental harassment under hindu law 1955 and thereby you can also go for the domestic violence act and claim divorce accordingly and also under act of protection of women under domestic violence act 2000.
