My husband is in Dubai since February saying he is searching for work. I was pregnant when he left. Now I have a son also of 3 months age. My husband's family have sent me a lawyer's letter to not return to the sasural and keep staying at my mother's house. They haven't paid for the delivery or anything for me or the child and are brushing off their responsibilities. My husband n I had a love marriage but now he is saying he only married to save himself from rape case. Also they got me force converted to Islam and even after all I did they have deserted me with a child. What is the best way to go about getting justice. Police complaints are unhelpful as they only warn him, but he's making covid excuses to not return.
You have to do one thing. First of all you should file criminal Application under Domestic Violence Act against your in laws all your mother in law, father in law and all those who torture you and get the protection orders from court.

you have to reply to the husband's lawyer's letter so as to not face any further issue in the future. if you do not reply to the notice it will be assumed you have admitted all the contents of the letter..hence please immediately field your reply.
