IPC 304 against my wife; Complainant is daughter of our maid servant

Our maidservant became ill and we call her daughter to take her to hospital. On the next day, her daughter complains to the O/C of the local police station for an FIR against my wife. Then the police came to our residence for her arrest. We are lucky that we are not at our house at that time. Then the complainant went to the court and brought a case against my wife using IPC 304. Now the local people convinced the complainant that she should withdraw the case. She agreed and withdrew the case with the stament that due to some misunderstanding, she has filed the case. Her statement in the court paper states that the court should forgive her for that reason.
We thought that the case was over. But the lawyer from Govt. is saying that this type of case can not be withdrawn. It will continue. We think that the judge in the court wil consult the police for further investigation. Please suggest us what we should do now.
first and foremost get certified copy of all the documents, talk to the public prosecutor, basically he wants to extract some money from you, if possible give it to him to buy mental peace and settle things and keep all documents in hand for any kind of misleadings if ever happens. You need to deal it calmly.

hi, here in your matter firstly you have to be very sure that the matter has been withdrawn and the affidavit cum petition is there and the same has also been sent to the police person of the local PS, then you have to collect the discharge copy, for your information judge has no right to continue the case against you if it has been withdrawn , for more can contact me.
