husband threatening of domestic violence

I got married on 25th feb. I live in mumbai and my husband lives un delhi because of work. After one month of marriage my husband has started fighting a lot. I understand quarrels are normal in any family, but he threatens me of domestic violence and harming me physically. He verbally abused me as well. I am scared to continue my marriage with him. I feel that if I oppose him ever, he will harm me
No need to tolerate anymore. If he is not in a mood to understand you and assault you physically you should move to local police station and should launch complaint under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act. Take the received on of the copy of complaint and book him.

I think u should file for under IPC 498 as he has harmed u physically and verbally abused u.
If u think u cannot ever live with him in near future u can also file for DIVORCE u/s 13 of Hindu Marraige Act under Mental cruelty.
Divorce u need to file only if u think u need to end marraige and there is no way u need to take things ahead.
