Domestic violence and physical violence

My husband started fighting with me on diwali, yesterday at 12.15pm, by blaming me that i do not give due respect to his father, who is residing away from us. Since starting of our marriage, my husband kept torturing me in the name of my in laws. My husband even hit me and grabbed and squeezed me physically, yesterday. I am under huge mental pressure. My husband even taunt me for not contributing anything towards house and child expenses. Please guide me.

you may file a complaint under domestic violence law. this law is precisely to protect women against such violence. if you proceed under this law, you may pray for final and interim protection order, maintenance, residence rights, etc. to safeguard yourself.

hello ma'am, I went through your query. if this is something you had been facing since your marriage and you are not able to tolerate it anymore then in that case you can opt for a case of domestic violence. or else of you are not able to survive in this marriage then you can opt for a divorce under creulty. both the remedies depend upon what you want from us. hope this was helpful for further help you can feel free to contact me.

First of all share your proper details of your marriage. Then you need to take legal step according to your situation. Ofcourse you will get help in your matter. And you need to have legal advise as well need to file complaint as well as FIR.
