If we couple were staying in mumbai, she left my home happily in Jan 2021 can my wife file dv and 498a case in Valsad Gujarat then how would processing take place. I mean wil the cops come to mumbai for investigation at my place.however o wish to file divorce petition in mumbai will she be coming to mumbai for the case can separate dv/498a case will run at different places

yes initially you shall file a case of restituion of comgujal rights here in mumbai before she files any case in gujarat so that you will be standing on a positive side in front of the cpurt so even after she files any case you can tell that she intentionally doing it to harass you and nothing and after that if she doesnt come you can file a case for divorce
