What is the procedure for Name change in 10th and 12th certificate

First you need to change your name in the official Gazette. Fill the requisite form with the documents they ask you for. Once that is changed then you can attach the gazette name change copy for future reference with your old marksheet because in SSC/HSC board, you cannot change your name. Only in cbse you can change and that too after you change in gazette within 10 years of passing the exam.

Dear Sir,

you can change the name on your 10th and 12th , you have to solemnly affirm on affidavit stating that your name is wrongly mentioned on certificate and your correct name is ..... , issue a Paper notice mentioning that your documents lost while travelling, apply to the concern education borad for issuing new certificates along with the affidavit copy.

As u say that u have passed 10 and 12 ..

Now the name cannot be changed in old documents, however in ur new documents to avoid old name you will have to make a gazette of name change which is acceptable everywhere as a proof of name change..
