My uncle in Delhi wants to register a Power of Attorney for allowing me to register a property in his name which is being purchased in another city. I will be doing everything in another city on his behalf. Kindly advise me the procedure and the paperwork required
POA for any purposes can be executed anywhere in India before any Registrar and can be used anywhere in India
POA can be registered before the Sub Registrar where the Attorney or the Executant stays.

Power of attorney is in two type. In your case you required special power of attorney. For Special power of attorney, stamp paper of Rs. 20/- is required. After drafting the contents of special power of attorney, the documents need attestation.
