Name in Birth Certificate of my son is different how to get it changed

20-Sep-2023 (In Documentation Law)
Namaste Sir !! I studied from Gujarat Education Board & graduated from Gujarat University. As per policy of Gujarat Education Board my name is written as “ Vaghela Ramesh Ashwin Bhai” (Name is beginning with my surname and Ashwin Bhai is my father’s name) in my 10th certificate & Graduation certificate. I have all ID proofs in this name i.e. Vaghela Ramesh Ashwin Bhai. Now, I am shifted permanently to Delhi. My question is that in birth certificate of my son (Which is issued by Nagar Panchayat, Uttar Pradesh Govt.) my name is written as “ Vaghela Ramesh” will this create any problem while applying for school admission or pass port in respect of my son. Thanks & Regard

As you have mentioned all your documents mentions your name as " Vaghela Ramesh " and you had no problem till now and you are continuing with Vaghela Ramesh and now out of these blue, you have problem in your child birth certificate which also mentions your name as Vaghela Ramesh.
I do not understand what is your problem now, you want to correct your name? or you want to correct your child's fathers name?. Please be specific. The school or passport authority will see the child's document and not yours.

As per the information supplied by you, since you have now shifted to Delhi, in normal circumstances Father's name is not mentioned in the educational qualifications certificates, therefore it is possible that you may incur difficulty in the near future so it is suggested that you may get published in Gazette of India that "Vaghela Ramesh Ashwin Bhai and Vaghela Ramesh" are one and the same person.

sir the question is always asked that your father name is different and your name is same in different document i suggest you should must amend the birth certificate and change the name of father of the child yet if you face any problem apply for new birth certificate and from different authority like mcd etc.

Yes it will lead a problem at the time of issuing any documents while proceeding abroad not in India so documents must be equally stated in concern documents. If not than I have to mention always the same name which I kept in birth certificate but at last ancestral properties also need the similarities.
