currently you cant change your name in CBSE,only typographical error of certain LIMIT are acceptable
,they have amended their rules and regulation .but in other boards like ICSE & state boards it is allowed.
still you want,then challenge this provision at high court through civil writ via competent lawyer

Dear you need to approach any advocate for getting your name published in the any news paper with the help of concerned affidavit and after words you need to get forwarded an application from the concerned school for the same and that application need to be submitted in the concerned board and after that you will be issued an fresh certificate with new name.

I have read Ur question it is possible only through court as per new guidelines of CBSE this thing is only possible by filling a civil suit in district court which will bear about 3 yrs and in high court it will.take 3 to 8 month
