withdraw divorce petition instead of paying very high maintenance

I have initiated a divorce petition against my wife and after one year court ordered me to pay very high maintenance to my wife so now instead of paying a very high amount I want to withdraw my divorce petition and take her to my home. Is it possible to do that?
Yes, you can withdraw the petition for divorce filed by you. But arrears in maintenance must be paid and it can be forfeited only at the instance of your wife. Taking your wife to your home may not solve all the issues until the same are settled between you and your wife.

when a Court has passed an interim order then you should obey the court order unless and until your wife as entered a compromise with you and both jointly sign your compromise memo the court won't accept to withdraw the divorce petition
