Will ny husband can take child Custody of my 6 month old son

I have filed for divorce in women cell .i have 6 month old baby boy. Now my husband is saying that they will compromise only if i give them baby. Can i my husband take custody of my child if he file for the child Custody case will it continue or jugde will cancel the petition. If it continues how long does case will go on and wHen he can take visitation right?

First of all the custody is impossible to be given to your husband because legally he's not a natural guardian yet. The custody of your son will remain with you as he's just 6 months old. It will be only after the child has crossed the age of 5 years, the physical custody and upbringing of the child will be considered by the court.
