Q: Medical negligence and non paying maintenance after interim order

As I mentioned above my husband has refused to maintenance to me. Court has passed interim maintenance 6k in sept,24. After that he stopped coming to court. Now he apples high court for stay order against this order. Although I have already filled execution also but still he went to high court. Hence, I am a patient of glaucoma and brain tumour. He forced me to work and earn myself. He refused to pay maintenance, divorce also. My lawyer also didn’t support me much. He doesn’t give clarity on anything. I am in a trapped. My health didn’t allow me to work bcz I have double vision , glaucoma, brain tumour also. What should I do in this situation. Required genuine help from you all respective authorities.

Q: Senior citizen harassment by a resident

I am 73 years old having undergone open heart surgery and also having cervical and vertigo problem. I resident in our gated society repeatedly and deliberately parks his car too close to blocks entry to my car. Thus making it impossible for me to use my car in case of a medical or other emergency. Even the thoughts of a blocked car is enough to destroy my peace and/or raise my BP. What are the options for me. Thanks

Hello Sir, Have you tried talking to this person who is causing this trouble? At first, try speaking to him. If that does not work, you can contact the local police and inform them about this issue. You can file a police complaint against him for causing public nuisance. Third option is always to seek legal help. If none of the above option works, you can approach the court and file a civil suit for injunction against this resident of your society. There's nothing to worry. Don't worry. At first contact a lawyer. Lawyer ko leke police station jao and file a complaint u/S 503 IPC for criminal intimidation and Sec 211 IPC for filing false complaing against you. Jitna bhi paise len den hui hain, uska documents yaa online bank transfer evidence apne pass rkho. Police ko dikhana padh skta hain.

Q: I want to give one chance to our marriage but legally

Hi, Me and my wife both have various issues with each other. And my wife has some psychiatric issues which they have not told prior to marriage. My wife is asking to give one last chance to marriage. But I want to give that chance only through legal way. Is there any way for this?

Hi, At first I would advise you to ask yourself, if you want to stay with your wife or not. That's the first priority you must have right now. You must be clear in your mind if you want to continue the marriage or not. In case you don't, you can definitely file for divorce. You also have the option for annulment of marriage on grounds of fraud, since your wife concealed her mental health issues before marriage. We can discuss this further if you want to proceed. Q: Name change - Hindu Marriage Act

Hi TeamMy wife had a passport with old surname. However, post marriage the surname changed.Since her job is related to travelling and in future she might need to go abroad on a professional tour, her question is related to passport change.Now, someone told her that she need not change name / surname in Passport and she can use old passport without any issue. However, her name is changed in Aadhar card.Please advise further if name change in passport is required?

It is always advisable to use the same names in your passport and Aadhar. Therefore, my suggestion for your wife would be to update her name in her passport as well. If there are discrepancies between names in different documents, it can lead to problems in future.
