Wife's father is threatening the husband

Dear all.nMy wife's father came to my house and started shouting that we are not feeding her daughter at all and that we are mentally torturing here. Her daughter herself claims that she is eating properly yet the father is adamant that we the in-laws are torturing her. He also threatened to bring gundas to my house if I dont obey him and file cases. We didn't take any dowry from them, nor torturing her yet I think I'll get in deep trouble if my wife files 498A and harassment case. Hindu here.

nobody can be injuncted to file a case. if your in-laws are threatening you to file some false criminal cases against you then you can move for anticipatory bail. Try to resolve the matter amicably with the help of some relative mediators. For further legal assistance feel free to contact me

Dear Client, You should approach Higher Authorities about all nuisance, whatever is going on, at least at this stage and as per section 498 A and other related sections you may also elaborate about that to nearby police station.

there are quite a few remedies that you can opt for legally, but I would suggest that you should first settle things with your father in law over a family meet but if you find that conversation going against you then please feel free to contact me.
