Q: Can I be arrested while I go for filing my Anticipatory bail

I am a Hindu, a 498A case has been registered against me and CJ magistrate has issued a summon. I want to visit the place and file my AB before the summon date. Can I be arrested by police while I go there and file my Anticipatory bail application.

yes you can file anticipatory bail at any moment after the registration of first information report against you and you don't need to go to any place to file such applications, all you got to do is hire a professional advocate to do it on your behalf. thank you

Sir police regeatered fir with 498 and lyer added 377 but it is not mentioned in chargesheet so could it be proved in court??\nShe had not done any medical, she refused to do anal medical so after all this 377 is still alive without test

I am Neha , and I married on 10 February 2022. But my marital relationship are not good. My husband and mother in law is abusive. On 22 July husband beaten me that\'s why I came to my parents home , \nI went police station for FIR registeration but police send my application for mediation, there is no call received for mediation, 1 week passed . \nSo How much time taken call from mediation. And is police can not FIR before meditation in matrimonial dispute. \nKindly help

police cannot send you to mediation it's the court's decision. if there's no complaint lodged till now you can file an application u/s 156(3) in the court seeking directions to the police to do so. for further assistance kindly contact me
