You should lodge a police complaint in the nearest police station, or alternatively if you feel threatened by her then you may seek a divorce.

If your wife files a police complaint against you then you may, on the basis of the complaint, approach the court and seek interim anticipatory bail for 72 hours.

sir, you should file an petition of sec 9 which is about to bring your wife back . this might help to and your wife's relationship. and still you want written assurance thn you can but if her parents is of with this and even they are believing that that's not your fault than if you are taking on white simple paper it will not consider as your documentary evidence form your side. this can happen if you are doing on stamp paper and notarized.

Yes, you may get divorce on this ground alone. Approach to a lawyer and file case in the court so that she could not be able to take any step against you or your family. Keep all the evidence safe. These will be helpful in proving your case.
