Wife requested for transfer of divorce case to another court

I have applied for divorce in bangalore. first hearing is on today. but my wife has appealed for stay for the proceedings and want the case to be shifted to court of senior civil judge kgf where she is staying with her parents. what will happen further. can u please help me in this

Sir,
As you told, she had filed petition,transfer the case from Bangalore to KGF, you should appear and file the objection stating your inconvenience to appear at KGF. Other wise the case will be transfer to the said court. I hope till now you may received the notice. Immediately you proceed in that transfer petition and take action.

Normally if your wife is unemployed having children etc there are chances that the case will be transferred where your wife is residing however you should try to see and try your level best but normally it is transferred to where wife is residing.

Please verify whether you have filed the petition in the court, which has territorial jurisdiction. The Hon'ble High Court will consider whether she has got grounds to seek transfer of the case. You can also send your statement of objection with the help of an advoacte, if you wish to oppose the transfer of the case.
