I got married in 2013 , due to work priority stayed separate from husband until Nov 2014. From Nov 2014 to Dec 2016 we lived in same house but there was disagreements and we decided to stay separate. Since Jan 2017 I am living separately from my husband. I wanted to apply for mutual divorce and he is delaying the process giving excuse of his business issues. I live in Bangalore and he lives in Mumbai. He wants the case to be filed in mumbai which was never the agreement. I don't want to linger, I don't want a single penny from him but simply don't want to have his name associated with me. Plus I have my career and personal life which I would like to plan positively and wish to get rid of the existing name shake relationship. Kindly advice best possible solution in this case

I have gone though your facts
For time being better you file a divoce from one side since he is not co operating for mutual divorce. Once he come to the court, in the mediaiton process itself you can agree for divorce and ask him to agree for the same . There only you will get divorce. As you told you are facing some health issue, better you adopt this method please proceed. /If legal assitence is required please contct

It is settled law that wife can file case where she ordinarily resides. You can file multiple cases against your husband in Bengaluru City so that he may come for settlement and it may be ended in amicable settlement or continue in marriage if comfortable to you.
