Hello,
Marriage solemnised at Arya Samaj has same value like others.
But, without witnesses the marriage is not valid.
In case you you get it registered and have obtained a marriage registration certificate from the concerned authorities than it becomes a valid.
But it can be challenged.

Hi, I understand your query and please note that a marriage solemnised in a Arya Sarmah Mandir is equally valid as a Court marriage.
During the marriage ceremony in Arya Samaj Mandir you should get a few friends along and a photographer who would click pictures of the ceremony as a proof. Pursuant to this the priest in the temple would issue a certificate of marriage which is valid and legit in Law.
After the ceremony is concluded the husband and wife should submit an affidavit in the local police station stating that they have married with their own will and by choice and are adults therefore the police should protect them if either of the families show any resistance.
During all of these proceedings it is advisable to have a lawyer also with yourself who is also visible in the pictures and who can support your case if the matter requires any legal support at a later stage.

Hence the marriage can now be registered in law based on the certificate issued by the Arya Samaj Mandir, also please note that after 2004 all the marriages that are being solemnised in any way are to be registered/ that couple has to get the marriage registered in Delhi

As per the Hindu Marriage Act, a Hindu marriage is valid if Saptpadi is performed. A marriage of two adult person is valid even if it is solemnised at Arya Samaj Mandir without the presence of any family member from either side. You have to understand the difference between registration of marriage and court marriage. A marriage which is performed outside can be registered by the Registrar of marriage on the date of application filed by the party to the marriage or on any other date fixed by him. There is no requirement to give notice to the family. Court marriage, which is performed before the Registrar of marriage, is performed, on application filed by boy and girl, the Registrar issues notices to the family member and also place the notice on some conspicuous place for thirty days so that family member or any other person has objection to the marriage can file their objection before the registrar. If no objection is received within the period the marriage is solemnised any day thereafter before the Registrar.
