What is the procedure for divorce when facing mental cruelty?

I want to legally separated. My husband mentally tortures me by doubting my character and talking bad about it. V got married on September 8 2012. But v were separately living six months every year and I used to adjust. But now am.fed up. I want to live smooth instead of tortures . He used to beat me whenever he gets angry. He used to pull out clothes from wardrobe to torture me..he wants me to live a life like going to office n doing all household works n going to his mom n sisters house. He won't allow me to go to my mom house neither my friends marriage or colleagues marriage . He used to scold badly if I go anf fight for it.

Collect all evidences by video and audio of your husband's torture.get witness too.you can also lodge police complaint too in order to support your case. you can also petition to social welfare officer for tortures of your husband and it will help your case

You can file divorce on the ground of cruelty. You can prove it by way of affidavits and etc. You need to collect some documents which may prove that he is causing mental agony to you. If you need any help please contact.

If your husband tortures you by doubting your character, you can very well file a nullity OP, declaring that the marriage is null and void. Consult an advocate he/she will guide you better. From your version I believe you have a good case

You can initiate proceedings under domestic violence for the physical and verbal abuse you undergo. If you have also made up your mind to be judicially separated better file divorce on the ground of cruelty in accordance with your religion or the law under which your marriage is registered.

You can file a case for the divorce on the ground of cruelty . Approach a family case consultant who will help you to file a case and do the necessary things for you .If it is necessary you can even give a complaint before the magistrate under the domestic violence Act for your safety.
