as per the family courts act,the family court can adopt its own procedure.so most of the family courts will insist for counselling both the parties.in case if anyone shall decide to get rid of tht ,he shall approach the high court.

as regards the time to betaken for the final verdict of the matter depends upon the gravity of the matter.

For each and every matter in the family court, counselling is mandatory. After the counselling, mediation can also be refered. For the divorce mere POA deed is not enough.Power of Attorney is allowed only for filing the petition.

There cannot be definite suggestion. The duration of the proceedings depends upon many a factor. Certainly, the Court cannot compel any of the parties to attend counselling. However, reluctance of the husband to take part in the counselling could be of added advantage to you.

Hai

Duration of cases depends upon a number of thing. If u can convince the court tat the counselling wont work u can skip the process. But it matters how u convince the court regarding it. Since u want conselling take measures to make him come before the court. File a maintainance petition or if u want to get together file restitution petition.
MC will be the good way to make him come.
