According to Muslim law Khula is a kind of divorce that a lady seeks from her husband. Generally it us done in a writing form where it is mentioned that the couples were having problems and that the lady wants to have khula.. it has to be signed by both the parties which means that the husband accepts the khula. you may talk with me for detailed understanding.

It will always be good to give khula in writing i.e.khulanama and forward the same to him via mail. Also once she gets khula convert her in Hinduism. If he had taken any of her Gold or belonging then file criminal Complaint against entire family for criminal brach of trust.

khula a a kind of divorce proposed by wife and accepted by husband. khula is a valid. and is acceptable in Maharashtra so once your niece give khula she will be free from said marriage. So also khula nama properly drafted should be send and mailed to him for the confirmation and for proof. but it should be drafted maticulously.
