What if my husband refuses to pay maintenance amount before divorce?

My husband is abroad and separated from me past 2yrs on unwilful grounds from my end, he forced me to leave the country we have been living in together for the past 10yrs and I had to return back to India. But he agreed to support me financially until the divorce was complete. Since one 1year no communication from his end and he isn't proceeding with filing the divorce either nor has provided me support in terms of the house as I am currently living with my parents. Now, 2yrs are complete for our separation and he plans to stop giving the maintenance amount. What are my rights in this case? In terms of financial maintenance as well as living conditions. I am unemployed and have no other source of income other than my meagre savings.
You may file divorce petition for contested divorce against your husband if you want divor ce and in the same petition you may claim monthly maintenance and lumsum alimony from your husband. Or if you do not want divorce, you can file petition for monthly maintenance ad well.
