What are the chances of divorcing wife living away since 1 year

wife left family abruptly with all sree dhan 1year ago after 4 years of married life -no children.no response/ contact since 1 year despite sincere efforts-Post graduate- not gainfully employed- staying with not so well off parents .Wanted to shift to parent's place-frequently visited them-acted upon their advice only-ill treated parents in law despite good care- mobile phone conversations with parents for long periods -left during husband's financial crisis due to fixing accountability for secured lending to public in a private bank-husband now working with comfortable employment in reputed private automobile finance firm away from chennai- living alone-His father is an astologer living in rented house with just sufficient income to live with bare necessities-both husband & his parents are honest sincere, good natured with soft -polite behaviour.The boy is around 30 years of age- he is the only son .He is out of the financial crisis now.Kindly advise reg.divorce under Hindu law
