.you can file for mutual consent divorce if both of you are either residing separately for one year or may be staying under the same roof but not as husband and wife. . The mutual consent divorce takes 6 months time from. the date of finger of the petition. And the terns and conditions of divorce are required to be mentioned in the petition.

hello, you can still opt for any lawyer for filing divorce by mutual consent before local court. You need to submit all your documents with lawyer, then he can file mutual consent divorce petition with family court, also you have to execute affidavit of your petition and go through counselling session twice and then the report of counselling will be submitted with court. On last date, when you will express that you do not want to continue marriage then your marriage will be dissolved.
