Wants to divorce with my husband

Hello sir , My self poonam kori Iff I file divorce then who will be the owner of property because my husband told me iff u file divorce then u should give half part of property to me,so I'm little worried because property is on my name and even all emi also paid by me only even he is jobless also still ,bt when we buy this property then he share some money on that day so he said maine bhi paisa lagaya hai ,even last 2 years he is jobless I'm only doing all things he is even not taken single responsibility even now he drink on daily basis it's like mentally harrassing me and abouse to my family also please help what to do we completed 9 yrs of marriage and I'm hindu

Hi. If the property is completely in your name, then he cannot do anything and he is just trying to scare you. However you need to decide as to what you what to do. You can call me for further advise.

If property is acquired by your own income then that property shall be treated as self acquired property of you.Your husband cannot claim any right in your property.If you want divorce you can file for divorce fearlessly.

hi in this case the flat which is owned by you cannot by claimed by your husband you have to proceed to file a petition for contesting divorce in which you can claim various reliefs you may also resort to domestic violence laws for protection from physical and mental harrasment
