Want to seek the best legal course of action

Hi, I shall try to explain to the best of my capacity and keep it short. In the year 2016 my wife filed a case of 498A against me. The case was later withdrawn. However in the year 2017 she again filed 406/506 against me in Barrackpore women's PS.Since then she has remained out of contact for 4 years apart from the day she came to collect her personal belongings along with police. I tried returning her items but she asked me to donate it. She also said that she wants mutual divorce but did not proceed on it. Since then it is hanging in the air. I consulted one lawyer recently who informed me about ex party divorce. However in that case I shall have to fight two separate cases together. What is the best course of action for me? Shall I wait till the case filed against me is over? The police is yet to file Chargesheet on the case. How long can they delay it? Can I appeal against this delay in court and tell the judge to grant me divorce along with pronoucing judgement on the complaint?

why is there so delay in filing of your chargesheet since four years have been which is not correct... yes you file for divorce too both the cases will go on but if you both agree for divorce then it will be mutual will be completed within 6 months

without detail discussion and document review proper consult is not possible. proper consult is possible only after detail discussion and document review. so, in my opinion detail discussion required for proper opinion.
