Want to Get Divorce as soon as possible as I am under stress

My husband is irresponsible towards me and my 2 daughters. One 3+ and the other 9 years. He spends what he earns on his enjoyment, on his mobiles, his bike and on his car. On a whole he is a materialistic person. I am a working woman since before marriage.
We were with inlaws in Delhi. At that time also, all the expenses were beared by me, be it my elder daughter's education, her well being, daily expenses and what not. My 2nd daughter was born in 2018.
Two years back, we have shifted to Greater Noida with both our daughters. Till some time, I ignored every such recurring problem. But all the above stated have been happening on a continuous basis.
I want divorce from this person ASAP as now he has started beating my daughters for his materialistic things
According to Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act divorce petition can be file on the grounds mentioned in this Section. I have seen your problem and I am of the opinion that you can file petition for divorce against your husband on the ground of cruelty. cruelty can be physical, emotional or financial type but for proving the ground of cruelty it is very much necessary to file police complaint against your husband for harassment and cruelty. secondly you should also file complaint under domestic violence and maintenance petition against your husband. After filing these petitions you can file a petition for divorce on contest basis.
But this will take a long period of time. it is better to file divorce petition on the basis of mutual consent which will be decided in six months.
