Want to file a divorce case where my husband is living out of country
19-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My question is that i belong to haryana and my marriage took place in delhi and i m working in bangalore for more than 2 yrs. And my husband is not ready to come forward i sent a legal notice through a lawyer but he didn't reply to that. My allegation is that he has left me here in India and after going there he is mot much interested in talking with me on phone. He is in indian embassy there. I m also in government job here. So that situation can i file a divorce case for dissertation.bcz i need him but he is not with me. He says if u want to live with me. Leave ur job and come with me.
you are asking very good question well come to law rato your working in banglore and you have any government address proof in banglore address so you have to file a divorce under section 131 ib Hindu maarriage act or you are which religion comming from that under law you will file dissolution of marriage so you have yo file dont worry it is possible your husband lived in forign country it is not any problem courtnotice will going to forign also so thank you for asking a Question
it appears from your narration here that you are not prepared to leave your job in order to join your husband. if you need him, if possible you can take a long leave and go to join him . but if you need your job more than anything else you can file for divorce from Bangalore as you are right now living here. you should manage to get the Court notices served on him.
