I want to file a application for khula. My husband cheating on me so many times. Recently after 24 years of marriage mujhe pata chale that he has another wife with a baby boy. Already we have 3 daughter's studying in different collages. I am a pre primary school teacher. Now i want to khula and alimony of rs 3000 on the basis of my financial condition. Hoe do i file an application

If you want khula then send him a legal notice calling up in him to accept your khula. If he is not ready then you may file for dissolution of marriage before the court. As for Maintenance and alimony you may file a separate case for the same.

Well, you can file an Application to seek Khula either before the concerned Family Court as per the Muslim Personal Laws applicable in India or you can seek Divorce through Darulkaza, Islamic Centres of Mediation & other Family Matters for Muslims, allowed by the Indian Judiciary to grant distinct type of Divorce to Muslim Couples to reduce the burden on Indian Judiciary of pending cases

Yes mam you can file an application for the Khula under the provision of special Marriage Act. For this process Husband & wife should be agree on the same terms and you can get it done from the Kazi. You can approach any Kazi and get it done from him according to the process on his letter head. Thank you!
