Want maintenance from husband for 2 children

Husband is government teacher his salary is above 1 lakh we seprated to each other about 6 months ago till now h didn't give any money for my children how much I can get money from him for my children for monthly?plz guide me

Well, you can get maximum Maintenance of Rs 10,000 for you, considering, his monthly Salary is more than Rs 1 Lakh, but, chances of you getting this maintenance decreases if his expenses are multifold.

you file the case for maintenance in the concerned court where you can get the maintenance for yourself as well as for your children further you can also pray for house allowance and other allowance based on your facts

Yes you can get monthly maintenance for you and your children based on filing of your assets and liabilities affidavit and same of your husband. You can simply file DV or Marriage Petition or Criminal Application before court and claim maintenance

In India, children are legally entitled to maintenance from their father irrespective of marital disputes. Courts generally award 20–30% of the father’s net monthly income for children, depending on number of children, their age, education, and living expenses. Since the husband is a government teacher earning above ₹1 lakh, reasonable child maintenance may range around ₹20,000–₹35,000 per month or more. You can claim maintenance under Section 144 BNS, Hindu Marriage Act, or DV Act, and also seek arrears for the last 6 months.
