Want an divorce from my wife both got separated from 12 years ago , we both are living separately

Husband wants an divorce but asking for maintenance money for child he is under 18 year. We both got separated since 12 years ago. This is an matrimonial question

While the husband is asking for maintenance the law generally allows the party with whom the child resides the custodial parent to seek financial support from the non custodial parent. If the husband has custody he can legally seek a contribution from the wife provided she has an independent income.

.hello you both got separated by legal or how explain he get maintenance kid custodial means need to get maintenance and what basis he required divorce .if he proves 12 year of separation he can get divorce

if husband wants a divorce let him file and you can always put your defence and as far as maintenance or permanent alimony is concerned it depends on facts of case, income, standard of living, assets, liabilities, dependents, so let him file for divorce if he wants.
