Time duration for appeal against family court decision
10-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am at the age of 78 and I got decision on my divorce case as dismissed by family court.
can I appeal in same court again for the case or do I need to appeal in high court if yes, in how many days I can apply for appeal in court.
Hello
as per your query I would suggest you to appeal in high court against the order only if you have substantial evidence or merit to prove the order wrong or not on merits. The appeal will only be fruitful if you show court the demerits of order.

You have inalienable right to move to the high court, since your petition has been dismissed by family court in the high court perhaps the void or lacuna that on your part was existing, would be recanavassed in the high court as an additional material particular. As for as stipulated time is concerned, a definite answer to this cannot be given, the best substitute would be to find a solution for a steady & swift justice would be high court the high court will relatively take less time in dispensation of justice .
