Talaq(divorce) as per Islamic tradition

10-May-2025 (In Divorce Law)
Dear team, I got married (Nikah) last month and would like to get Talaq now. I live in western country and my wife lives in India. I want to send her talaq notice or get talaq directly under khazi. Please note that my marriage certificate is still pending. Should I wait until my marriage certificate is issued or I can apply for talaq immediately. Can someone help me with the query. How long it will take for talaq to be granted.

wait until your marriage certificate . You must wait 3 month's iddah period. you can pronounce Talaq ( varbali or in writing ) talaqnama to your wife. Eidgah period 3 months for finalisation . send a legal notice to your wife . If she disputes you may need to file in Indian family court.
