If the behaviour of your wife is intolerable towards you then rather dragging your relationship you can always file for divorce against her on cruelty grounds. And if you have already decided to go ahead with divorce then I would suggest you to go for the mutual divorce because it is less money consuming and ends up in maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Section 14 in The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 says that no petition for divorce to be presented within one year of marriage .—Which means you can’t file any petition for dissolution of your marriage until one year is completed but Provided that the court may allow to file petition before completion of one year of marriage only where there is exceptional hardship to the petitioner or of exceptional depravity on the part of the respondent.
