Sir, can I file quashing petition in Kolkata for a DV case filed in Si

Sir, can I file quashing petition in Kolkata HC for a DV case filed in Siliguri ACJM Court against me for which I have received a notice from the court. I don't want to file in Jalpaiguri bench of Kolkata HC. Is it possible .

DVC complaint cannot be quashed by Highcourt. You have to file discharge petition in trial court to discharge the DVC. If the trial court is declining make an appeal to the sessions court under section 29 of DVC Act you will get discharge order. For more details you can call me

Yes, a quashing petition can be filed in the High Court. However, a thorough review of the matter needs to be prepared before moving up the ladder. Otherwise, the petition might get dismissed whatsoever.

Yes you can file but quashing fir in many times court do not allow until you see the valid ground if you can proof its baseless and mostly to injure your reputation you can .court will closed on October if u think you file should go ahead.
