Dear Sir, Few files being misplaced by Court staff. In such cases you have to lodge complaint with the concerned Judge in writing by registered post by yourself. Further you may send a copy of the same to the Registered Vigilance, High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru for immediate action.

Usually Now since several years the court has been asking to sets of case files for a case to be registered in court, so that in case a file goes missing other file will be available. check if any work is also your advocate has filed two sets.

Through your advocate you have to approach the concerned court section clerk who is responsible and who had custody of your file and ask him to search the file failing which you can file a complaint to the concerned court judge who may further direct the concerned clerk or officer who is responsible to maintain the files. Normally court files will not be going anywhere proper search is conducted by concerned section your file will be found.
