She requested to the court club the both cases together and solve it

My wife filed sec9, I filed sec13 1 ia. Court counseling failed. I am not ready to continue with her. Both submitted proofs within the same court. She requested to the court club the both cases together and solve the issue ASAP. I have signed that document. Is there any problem for that? or they doing mind game?

Dear Sir, Commonly in routinely both the cases will be clubbed otherwise contradictory judgments may be passed. Be informed that getting divorce by husband is very difficult unless you establish cruelty against the wife otherwise your divorce case will be dismissed and her case for restitution of conjugal rights will be allowed. Then if you do not join her the Court may impose monthly fine upto Rs Twenty Five Thousand for violation of such decree.

You have filed divorce cases and your wife can file counter claim in the same case or else you have to file memo to club your case together and proceed in the same court. Otherwise you cannot club the matter. If you need any more suggestions please contact me.

1. with the parties consent court has the power to club both the cases. 2. the court uses the power to club the cases because of multiple cases coming to an end and easily resolved and court burden also reduces.
