Seeking legal advice on behalf of mother

Hello, Over the years, my mother has been physically and emotionally abused by my father. He also began having affairs and sexual intercourses with other women. My mother is very hesitant to complaint. We have good video evidence of his adultery. Can I do something about this?

Yes, you can. Your Mother can take Divorce from this Man, that's it. Except this action, she cannot do anything. As Adultery is no more crime in India. If your father will become ready to Divorce your mother, they have to file a Mutual Divorce Petition or otherwise to seek Divorce your mother has to contest in court if your father is willing to Divorce her.

Yes, you can file a domestic violence case against your father on behalf of you and your mother. You will get protection order after that he can not harass your mother mentally or physically, strict action shall betaken by court thereafter. She will get maintenance as well if she is not earning.

Yes she can file divorce and domestic violence complaint against him and claim for alimony by proving all allegations she has against him and request for immediate hearing if she is senior citizen. She can also file police complaint against him
