Second divorce and Child custody

15-May-2024 (In Divorce Law)
My husband has been earlier divorced and has a child who stays with her mom. I am 2nd wife to my husband and has a girl child with him. We have started having a lot of differences once my mother in law started living with us. Also, currently he isn't working and also a drunkard and is forcing me to stay together with his mom. I have decided to part ways with him. I work as an analyst in a company. Can I get the child custody, no monetary expectations. Is forcing me to stay with his mom right

hi yes you could file petition in court seeking child custody in court if he is threatening to take away the child from your possession and you could also file domestic violence case against harassement and could obtain orders in your favour
