Savings Account Information for Children with Shared Custody

Hello,
Can you tell me if its a law that I provide my children's savings account information with my ex husband? He refuses to give me their 529 College Savings information, and access to their accounts, so I am refusing to give him any information on their savings accounts which only have $2000 in each of their accounts. He is also refusing to pay me for childcare expenses in the amount of $1200 until I give him their account information. Is he legally allowed to do this? I am constantly receiving harassing emails from him in regards to this and I would like to file a complaint against him. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lori i can help you with this case of yours but will require more information to give you correct advice and take any further steps. If the custody of children is with and a $1200 expense has been decided by the court you do not need to give him any information and he cannot stop the childcare expense at his own will and if you have his emails they are a plus point for you and will definately help you in your case

No there is no law which compells you to provide any information to your ex husband. Provided if he is not giving you and your children maintenance and thrir education fee. In this case also he can ask only some limited information viz amount of college fee and other extra expenses of books text books and uniform (all related to the education of children nor any thing else)
In your question what is 526 I could not understand? pl explain.
however if he simply needs and asking for the account numbers of children to directly credit in that account, you hv to provide him the same otherwise he can deny to pay.

Hi Lori is your dispute in Indian court then the details of the bank for Transfer will be required as per law and I feel ur are not from India then U have to be more specific about the country and region whose law will be applicable to you
