Right to residence in matrimonial home

06-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am a Hindu girl and got married in 2013 to a Hindu boy. My husband has filed for divorce and now he says I dont have a right to reside in my matrimonial home as I am the only child of my parents and I dont need the accomodation. If the girl is the only child or has a property in her name then does this takes awy her right to residence?

You can file an application under section 12 of the Domestic violence act where you can ask for right to residence. Court will allow that. If you need help with the application, I deal in such kind of cases.
